Volunteer and Professional Development Opportunities
Want to get the most out of your PRSA membership? Along with playing a volunteer role in your chapter as a committee member, chair or board member, we are seeking PRSA members from all our Northeast chapters to help us grow our distict offerings. These opportunities include the following committees we encourage you to join—whether you are new to PRSA or a seasoned practitioner! Thank you for your interest. Call or contact any of the committee chairs listed below for more information.
Our communications committee volunteers manage our district-wide messages and updates for all 1,000 members. We seek help in updating our website regularly, co-managing our new social media channels to be created to engage district members in meaningful networking and professional development discussions, and in helping to create and manage our district e-newsletter. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Shared Conference Planning Committee
We have big plans for our annual conferences, and need members from across the district to help ensure our success! Be a part of our transition to a completely district-managed conference. Play as big or small a part you choose to. All kinds of help are needed year-round. Subcommittees will be formed for tasks below. For more information, email email@example.com.

Digital District Programming Committee
We seek members interested in helping us to create and offer online professional development courses, presentations, workshops and panel discussions. The programs will feature district members from various expertise areas. Together, we will integrate social media and other engagement opportunities with webinar formats, live streaming and on-demand presentations. We need both people who like creating top program content and networking with others in the district, as well as anyone with an interest in technology and digital program creation and management. For more information, email John Senall at firstname.lastname@example.org.
