Are you a dynamic presenter with something important to share with an audience of public relations and communication professionals?
We are looking forward to inviting communicators to the virtual PRSA Northeast District Conference. The conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 17 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday, June 18 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Participants will represent emerging companies, higher education, nonprofits, cause-driven organizations, and consumer brands. They’ll range from executive-ranked officers to mid-level managers to early careerists and will come from agencies and organizations of all sizes.
2021 Road Map: Directions for a New Journey: Stop. Go. Yield. Detour Ahead! New communications tools get introduced so fast that it can be difficult even for trained communicators to know which way is up. Many of us barely finished getting our communications plans integrated smoothly with what the last decade brought: social media, digital advertising, targeted ads, smart apps, live news feeds, teleconferencing and more. Add a pandemic and now you have to reinvent the delivery of these and new ways to engage using technology. If you can’t use these existing and new channels to effectively voice your message, someone else will — and your organization gets lost in traffic. What you need is a good map and a guide to point you in the right direction. Join us for an array of focused conversations about strategies to help every communicator stay ahead of the curve and forge a clear path to success. Learn from expert guest speakers about the best new communications methods, technologies and consumer expectations. Change happens fast — but it’s never too late to find your way. Join us, map out the next leg of your communications journey for yourself, and you’ll arrive ahead of the others — because you’ll know what’s coming and how you’ll plan to get there.
Submission Deadlines & Details
Complete the online Call for Speakers submission form by March 5. All submissions will be acknowledged by e-mail. Proposals will be evaluated by the PRxNE21 Programming Committee and selected speakers will be contacted in mid March if their proposal is selected. Those decisions are final. Please note that we have a limited number of session slots available. If we find speakers with similar themes and it feels appropriate, we may approach you to participate on a panel instead of providing an individual presentation. Submissions become the property of PRSA Northeast. Names of submitters are kept confidential.
Please note that Malone Media will provide the selected speakers the pre-conference technology orientation training, as well as day-of-conference support for the successful delivery of presentations.
Speaker Benefits & Policies
Speakers attend PRXNE21 as our guests and may attend all other sessions during the conference free of charge. As this is a virtual conference, travel, lodging and related expenses are not required and compensation is not offered. Speakers agree to be photographed/recorded during the conference for purposes of publicity and promotion and indemnify PRSA Northeast from any public outcome.
